Client invoices, without the busywork

Pick a session and the invoice prefills in your name — your details, the client, the fee, a sequential number. Issue it, send it as a branded email, and get paid by card while gentle reminders handle the chasing. It even doubles as a receipt.

How does invoicing work in Kaufmann Health?

You pick a client and a session — a Kaufmann Health booking or one you record — and the invoice prefills in your practice's name with the right fields and a sequential number. You issue it (the number locks) and send it as a branded email. With card payment a pay-button is included and the invoice marks itself paid, doubling as a receipt; if it stays unpaid, we send gentle reminders, then hand it back to you. Invoices can be issued in EUR, USD, CHF or CAD.

What's on a Kaufmann Health invoice?

Six things that make invoicing one less thing to think about.

Prefilled from your sessions

Pick a client and a session — booked through Kaufmann Health or recorded by you — and the date, fee and your details fill themselves in.

Sequential, locked numbers

Each invoice gets the next number the moment you issue it, and it can't be changed afterwards. Your books stay gapless.

Everything an invoice needs

Your practice details, the client, dates, line items and totals — a complete document, not a blank template to fill in.

Your tax status, handled

Mark your status once and the right note prints automatically — or no tax line at all where it doesn't apply. You stay responsible for the tax treatment.

In your name, not ours

The invoice is issued by your practice. We just generate the document — your client sees you, not a platform.

Doubles as a receipt

Once it's paid — cash, bank transfer or card — the invoice carries a paid stamp, so the same document is your client's receipt.

From session to paid invoice

Two steps, both built in.

Issue in your name

Pick a client and a session — a Kaufmann Health booking or an off-platform one you record in the same step. The invoice prefills; you review and issue. Issuing is silent: nothing reaches your client until you choose to send.

Sent, paid, and reminded

Send it as a branded email. With card payment a pay-button is included and the invoice marks itself paid — becoming a receipt. If it stays unpaid, we send up to two gentle reminders, then hand it back to you.

Built in vs. a separate invoicing tool

Standalone invoicing tools work — the difference is how much you wire up and re-type yourself.

Frequently asked questions

Can I create invoices for my clients?
Yes — invoicing is part of the Starter plan. Pick a client and a session, review the prefilled details, issue the invoice (the number locks), and send it as a branded email.
Is the invoice sent automatically?
No. Issuing and sending are separate steps — nothing reaches your client until you send it. You decide the timing, for example at the end of the month.
Does it double as a receipt?
Yes. Once an invoice is paid — cash, bank transfer or card — it carries a paid stamp and serves as the receipt. With card payment it marks itself paid automatically.
Can I invoice in different currencies?
Yes — invoices can be issued in EUR, USD, CHF or CAD. The currency and the invoice language follow your practice's country.
Whose name is on the invoice?
Your practice's. You are the issuer; Kaufmann Health only generates the document, and you remain responsible for the tax treatment (this is noted on the invoice).
Does it handle insurance claims?
No. These are plain itemized invoices and receipts for what your client pays you directly — they aren't insurance claim forms or superbills, and they don't include diagnostic or procedure codes.
