Credentials reviewed before publication
Before a profile goes live at Kaufmann Health, we look at the documents: the method certificates, and the state licence where there is one. Only then does a practitioner appear in the directory.
This page says what we review, and what we don't.
What we check
State licence
For practitioners who hold one: the German Heilpraktiker licence for psychotherapy, or a full Approbation. We look at the uploaded document, not just the entry in the form.
Method certificates
At least one certificate from the practitioner's body-oriented training, issued by the training institute. Alongside NARM, Somatic Experiencing, Hakomi and Core Energetics we recognise further methods, which we review individually. Practitioners still in training document the training in progress and work under supervision. That is shown on the profile.
Identity
We cross-check the date of birth from the sign-up against the document, so the credentials really belong to the person running the profile.
Photo and profile data
A real profile photo and complete practice details. If any of that is missing, the profile does not go live.
Two qualification levels
We review method certificates at both levels; the state licence applies to the first one only. Every profile shows which level a practitioner is on.
Practitioners holding the German Heilpraktiker licence for psychotherapy, or a full Approbation, who have specialised in body-oriented methods.
Body therapists trained in a recognised body-oriented method, whether completed or still in progress under supervision. They offer body-oriented therapeutic support, not psychotherapy in the clinical sense.
What we don't check
Practitioners write their own profile texts. How they work, who comes to them, what happens in a first session: that appears unchanged, the way they wrote it.
The same goes for the entries under Training & education. They are the practitioner's own statement, and their responsibility.
One exception: if someone sends us the certificate for an entry, we review it. If it checks out, the entry carries a "Certificate reviewed" note.
