Profile
People who come to me
have not reached the core of their issue through purely talk-based therapies and have a sense that so much more is possible or could be. They are people who appreciate deeper accompaniment based on respect, empathy, years of inner process work, and multifaceted competence drawn from many therapeutic systems - and who want to be supported through crises, fears, trauma-related stress, blockages, conflicts, and self-worth issues by someone with that kind of experience. Because adapting, rebelling, hiding, and freezing are no solution either!
In our work together
Awareness of what is, how it happens and how it is structured, when it takes shape, in which settings and with whom - this needs to be grasped not just cognitively, but experienced as holistically as possible. Beyond structural awareness, it is often also about a vagus-regulated expansion of consciousness in contact with the wholly other or the realm of transcendence, which often plays an important role in existential crises, for example. With online sessions, there are limitations compared to one-on-one live experiences, which lie in the nature of technology and distance. That is why I still offer intensive one-on-one work at Lake Constance.
The first session
The first appointment is a so-called intake session. It is about a fundamental assessment of the current situation and the circumstances connected to it. Of course, we do not only look at problem areas, trauma-related stress, blockages, and conflicts, but also at possibilities, wishes, strengths, and what is helpful. Beyond intellectual understanding, somatic body awareness, the energetics, and functionality of your own autonomic nervous system already play an important role. Spiritual aspects can also find space and place here.
About me
In 1998, I completed a commercial apprenticeship and then began my civilian service in a clinical facility for borderline patients. In parallel, I worked freelance in art education with a wide range of groups (including forensic project work). It became clear to me that I wanted to work in the social field, so I completed my technical high school diploma in art. I then studied social pedagogy and theater pedagogy until 2005, while already attending therapeutic courses.
My journey
My life has been shaped by various traumatic experiences of my own - incubator, an early near-death experience as a result of an accident, numerous surgeries, many deaths and losses in the family, my own car accidents, and later bullying and experiences of violence. For many years, I processed these intensively through creative outlets in the graffiti scene and mural painting - later through theater, and then above all through a more than twenty-year path of my own therapeutic training, group work, self-exploration, self-analysis, and supervision. Already during my studies, it quickly became clear to me that it can only work through encounter, contact, the body, and through an expansion of consciousness. That is why from the beginning I sought holistic methods and approaches, such as hypnosis, breathwork, Gestalt therapy, or Somatic Experiencing.

(SE)
SE is a body-oriented trauma therapy grounded in the neurobiology of stress. The approach helps release stress responses held in the nervous system — particularly from shock, accidents, or chronic overwhelm. Gentle, paced to what you can hold.
Learn more about Somatic ExperiencingJörg offers body-oriented therapeutic support. This is not psychotherapy in the clinical sense.
