A private video room in the Kaufmann Health portal — share one link, no account needed

How private are Kaufmann Health's video sessions?

Very. Video runs on EU-hosted infrastructure (via Daily.co — SOC 2 Type 2 certified, AES-256 encryption) that records nothing by default and runs no AI over session content. Clients need no download and no account — one click puts them in the call. For EU practices, a data processing agreement (AVV under Art. 28 GDPR) is included.

What makes these video sessions private?

Six things to look for in any tool — and how this one is set up.

Hosted in the EU

Calls run over EU-hosted infrastructure, so session data isn't routed through third countries just to connect.

No recording

Sessions aren't recorded. There's no record button that could accidentally store audio or video.

No AI on session content

No AI assistant listens in, transcribes, or processes what's said to train a model.

Data processing agreement (EU)

For EU practices, we provide a DPA/AVV under Art. 28 GDPR — you don't have to chase one down or move to a business tier to get it.

No download, no account for clients

Clients click the link and join in the browser. No app to install, no sign-up — one less barrier before a session.

Waiting room

Anyone with the link lands in a waiting room first; you admit them. A forwarded link never opens an unattended session.

Two ways to use video

Pick the right one per situation — both are built in.

Booked 1:1 sessions: automatic video link

Every booking gets a video link automatically — in the confirmation, the calendar entry, and the reminder. It runs in the browser on EU servers, and you can switch a given session type to Zoom or Google Meet if you prefer.

Groups & ad-hoc: your own video room (Starter)

A permanent room that's yours. Share the link with your group, your supervision circle, or for a spontaneous call. Waiting room on, nothing recorded.

Built in vs. pieced together yourself

Generic video tools can be made compliant — the difference is how much you have to configure and procure yourself.

Frequently asked questions

How private are these video sessions?
Very. Calls run on EU-hosted infrastructure (Daily.co, SOC 2 Type 2 certified, AES-256 encryption), nothing is recorded by default, no AI touches session content, and clients need no account. For EU practices, we include a data processing agreement (AVV under Art. 28 GDPR).
Are the sessions recorded?
No. Recording is switched off and there's no record button — so audio and video are never stored as a side effect.
Where are the servers / where is the data processed?
Video runs through Daily.co on EU-hosted infrastructure. Daily.co is SOC 2 Type 2 certified and encrypts the stream with AES-256.
Do I get a data processing agreement (DPA/AVV)?
For EU practices, yes — we provide a DPA/AVV under Art. 28 GDPR that you accept in your portal, so you don't have to source one yourself or move to a business tier to get it.
Do my clients need to install anything or create an account?
No. They click the link and join in the browser. No app, no sign-up.
Can I still use Zoom or Google Meet?
Yes. For booked sessions you can switch a given session type to Zoom, Google Meet, or your own URL in your calendar settings. The built-in option is there if you'd rather not.
