People who come to me cannot get further with analyzing their thoughts alone and intuitively know that the body also stores memories and can be included in healing. They have the curiosity to explore this path and to tune into emotions and body sensations. They want to find out what is blocking them that they could not resolve through talking alone.

People who come to me often feel stressed, anxious and inwardly unsure, and notice that mind and body aren't in sync. In the decisive moment they often act differently than they intended. They keep running into similar conflicts. It's hard for them to set clear boundaries and stand up for themselves. Despite great effort, they don't make the progress they want in life and work. Instead, they feel as if they're standing in front of an inner wall.

People who come to me ...are just like you. Who have understood a lot about themselves - about their history, patterns, and wounds - and still find that little changes in their lives. Your mind has probably long since analyzed your problems, yet your body keeps responding with fear, tension, withdrawal, or deep exhaustion. Often it is about the effects of trauma or attachment injury, depression, or anxiety. In body-oriented psychotherapy, we gently include your body and nervous system - right where experiences are stored and where change finally becomes possible.
